Then our society has other powers that can be applied collectively, nationwide and even at global scale. Then the path to this POWER is POLITICS.

Dictionary.com defines POLITICS as: noun
1. the science or art of political government.
2. the practice or profession of conducting political affairs.
3. political affairs: The advocated reforms have become embroiled in politics.
4. political methods or maneuvers: We could not approve of his politics in winning passage of the bill.
5. political principles or opinions: We avoided discussion of religion and politics.
6. use of intrigue or strategy in obtaining any position of power or control, as in business, university, etc.

We defined Power, then Politics, now we move to Interest:

Greenville Wall, in the article: The Concept of Interest in Politics (Wall, 1975), expresses that the concept of interest is clearly one which is of considerable importance in both political practice and political theory. First, it is a concept which is frequently used in the justification and criticism of political policies and arrangements and social practices generally. Secondly, it plays an equally important role in the explanation of political and other kinds of social events.

Interest group, also called special interest group, advocacy group, or pressure group, any association of individuals or organizations, usually formally organized, that, based on one or more shared concerns, attempts to influence public policy in its favor.

All interest groups share a desire to affect government policy to benefit themselves or their causes.

Their goal could be a policy that exclusively benefits group members or one segment of society (e.g., government subsidies for farmers) or a policy that advances a broader public purpose (e.g., improving air quality).

They attempt to achieve their goals by lobbying—that is, by attempting to bring pressure to bear on policy makers to gain policy outcomes in their favor.

Interest groups exist at all levels of government—national, state, provincial, and local—and increasingly they have occupied an important role in international affairs.

Once defined: Power, Politics and Interests we can move to Workforce and Capital.

Workforce: It is defined by the Collins dictionary as the total number of people in a country or region who are physically able to do a job and are available for work.

Capital: As defined on Wikipedia: In economics, capital consists of human-created assets that can enhance one's power to perform economically useful work.

Learning what is Workforce and Capital, allow us to easily understand what Left and Right in Politics are.

Left and Right were coined during the French Revolution, referring to the seating arrangement in the French Estates General. Those who sat on the left generally opposed the Ancient Régime and the Bourbon monarchy and supported the French Revolution, the creation of a democratic republic and the secularization of society while those on the right were supportive of the traditional institutions of the Old Regime.

In conclusion Left=Workforce and Right=Capital

Go ahead and get the book, to find more on the subject and don’t get caught on Bad Political Decisions.

EDITORIAL:

Young people speech from all centuries has been: I don’t care about politics, I hate Politicians, I hate Politics:

“I AM NOT POLITIC”

But let me tell you that: Of course, you are! we are all POLITICS and our lives and our Planet and planets around earth are impacted positively or negatively by POLITICS designed and imposed by POLITICIANS elected by us or others with voting rights, or DICTATORS imposed by small groups of National or International POWERS to control and devastate nature in disregard of millions of inhabitants of certain countries ruled by this kind of criminals.

With all its pros and cons, the United States is Democratic Reference for the rest of the world, not because is perfect but the extent of its Geopolitical, Military and Political Power combined with it ability to melt and adopt people from all nationalities into its democratic system. These last elections in 2020, the US shown how The Workforce can freely and democratically unite and vote out an Interest Group that was against the Paris Agreement, opened Natural Parks and nearly US Coasts to allow Oil and gas Drilling which not only refused to leave the White House, but caused with their Racist and Hate Speech the death of a group of people in the failed attack to the US Capitol on January 2021.

You do not live isolated of POLITICAL decisions made daily in democratic countries, if you are able to vote, first check this book and then VOTE, with conscience for the sake of humanity.

This edition was sponsored by Gorila Travel, Virtual Travel Agency, Air Tickets, Hotels, Vehicle Rental and Event Tickets, with prices much lower than those offered in the market, when planning your next trip, visit https://gorilatravel.com and get the most for your money.

That's all for today.
I say goodbye as always with the poem Piu Avanti by poet Pedro Bonifacio Palacios, but first I want to remind you that you can support not only the production of this program but also dozens of families who are suffering the Humanitarian Crisis created by the Dictatorship of Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela. Visit our store at https://www.ubuntu.cafe and take home any of our books or products or send your contribution to https://venmo.com/rodulfox or cryptocurrency to the wallets published in the description of this Video or Podcast.

PIU AVANTI

Don’t embrace defeat, even defeated,
don’t feel yourself a slave even enslaved,
trembling in terror, think yourself fearless,
and charge with fury, gravely wounded.

Have the tenacity of the rusted nail,
though old and ruined, become a nail as ever.
Not the cowardly folly of the turkey
that folds its plumage at first tremor.

Proceed like God, who never cries,
or like Lucifer, who never prays.
or be like the Oaktree, whose grandeur
has need of water and will not beg…

Let bites and yells of vengeance!
Rolling on the dust! your furious head
